This problem does not occur with beagle-search and seems to be frontend specific. However something similar occurs in deskbar-applet: accentuated matches appear but result in a crash of the beagle plugin when selected (see bug #37153in deskbar-applet: https://bugs.launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/deskbar- applet/+bug/37153).
