I 'think' what happens is that Nautilus tries to copy a file that is not permitted for some reason, no permission, can't overwrite on dest etc... and Nautilus just quits with no error or warning message, leaving the user thinking that all files have been copied. Not a good situation. I especially noticed this when copying a large tree (1000's of files) onto another similar tree. I now always use rsync which I have found to be 100% reliable so far. I haven't used Nautilus for this type of thing for months. Cheers, Mike
