Public bug reported: Since bug #898748 was erroneously declared invalid, in spite of my requests to correct it, I'll file this again.
Evince has the very annoying prblem that when I use two-finger scroll on my trackpad, it is interpreted as zooming out, so instead of scrolling up and down in my text, it will just become extremely tiny in the evince window. Clicking the "fit to page width" button twice fixes it and seldom leaves me too far from where I was reading, but it makes Evince - that I otherwise like a lot - barely usable as a reader for documents longer than ~ 10 pages.
