Public bug reported:

My sytem is not able to record audio from microphone.

I ve tested the microphone on other system, where it works, so this is
related to gnome-media package, kernel or hardware itself.

I ve filed it here, because I do not know it better.

When there are any files I can additional provide, run any commands or
doing other stuff, tell me.

Iǘe installed precise direct on hardware, so the audio recording
problems are not related to virtualisation software.
