You have been subscribed to a public bug: When I installed Ubuntu I specified UK english as my default, even though I live in South Africa, because the South African Dictionary isn't as comprehensive as the UK one. But then, when I started working I came across a problem- the @ and " keys on the keyboard are switched around. So I added the South African keyboard layout and selected that one. But when I restart, it defaults back to the UK keyboard.
so I went into preferences and delete UK keyboard, but when I restart its back, and selected by default. ** Affects: hundredpapercuts Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- keyboard preference changes dont save https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/812422 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
