Still here on Oneiric, unfortunately. This bug means for me that a remote backup over gvfs (using Simple Backup) takes hours, where it could be done in less than half an hour. It also means, I cannot play back video from my moviebox over wireless - the higher latency drops throughput below what is needed for continuous playback. I cannot believe that this issue has been around since Intrepid and not being fixed!
