I discover the same here in Ubuntu 11.10. Yesterday, a contact wanted to invite me to share desktop because we are working on a mutual artwork-project. He tried to send me his invitation, but I did not get this on my screen.
I use Ubuntu 11.10 on my Notebook with Gnome-Shell 3.2 and he uses LinuxMint 11 also with Gnome-Shell and also Arch-Linux with Gnome-Shell. But we discovered - as I wrote - that his invitation for desktop-sharing doesn't show up on my screen. So my question is: what is running wrong here?? Thanks for any advice.
