Why do you changed status to invalid. I experience the same problem after installing (not upgrading) 11.10. In 11.04 with the same hardware DUN Dialup over bluetooth worked like a charm.
In addition to this bug with the NM: I also see two connections with the same name. But in the "Edit connection" dialog there is only one.
