@Marc: thanks for confirming! It's still an issue for me in Natty too. It did not help adding me to group 'bluetooth' or tweaking '/etc/dbus-1/system.d/bluetooth.conf'. If I start "obex-data-server -nd" manually and try to browse my successfully paired phone then I see:
