Public bug reported: I use OpenSSH to have quick remote access to my desktop when I'm out home.
So, I do not intend to run it fulltime. In previous version as Dapper, after installing OpenSSH, I used to go in System -> Administration -> Services to disable sshd running at boot. OpenSSH is not listed in the Services menu neither in BUM (Boot Up Manager, installed by package named bum). I supposed OpenSSH is not presenting itself as a service to be administrated thru this two tools. ** Affects: gnome-system-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs Status: Fix Released -- OpenSSH is not listed as a Service in Gnome https://launchpad.net/bugs/69424 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
