Public bug reported: I have a Logitech MX 3000 wireless keyboard/mouse bundle. I have set keyboard model to "Logitech Cordless Desktop Pro" in Keyboard preferences, and some multimedia keys are recognized in "Preference->keyboard shortcuts". It can read the XF86Back, XF86AudioMedia, XF86AudioMute, XF86AudioNext, XF86AudioPrev, XF86AudioStop, XF86AudioMail, and XF86VendorHome keys. 8 keys for a total of... more than 28 keys ! And nothing happens when I try to raise the volume through the keyboard.
I'm running Edgy Eft which is up to date when I report this bug (28 Nov 2006). Xev program doesn't detect other keys than already reported ones.
