Public bug reported: Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Hebrew support through Settings->Language Support. Make it default interface language by moving it to the top of the list of langugaes (very unintuitive and unexplained, btw). 2. Restart. You get a Hebrew lightDM and a Hebrew gnome. 3. In Settings->Language Support, move Hebrew to the bottom of the list so UK English (in my case) is on top. 4. Restart. Expected result: An English lightDM and an English Unity/Gnome/apps. Actual results: A Hebrew lightDM and an English gnome. The control center failed to notify lightDM on the change. This happened in natty with gdm also. A workaround is to uninstall Hebrew support completely, restart to an English greeter, and re-install Hebrew support.
