Public bug reported: On Ubuntu 11.10 Alpha 3 (Gnome session fallback), I try to add the "Main Menu" applet to the panel:
"Alt+right-click" > "Add to Panel..." > "Main Menu (The main GNOME menu)" but nothing happens. No menu is added. If I run gnome-panel on a terminal and try to add the "Main Menu" applet, there's the following output: > Unknown menu scheme, cannot load menu button Note that I can add the "Menu Bar" applet. Only the "Main Menu" applet doesn't work. ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: oneiric -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/836317 Title: Can't add the "Main Menu" applet to the panel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/836317/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
