Public bug reported:

I want to use Xubuntu 11.04 on a lightweight laptop. On this host I need
a very long battery lifetime as well as the shortest startup duration.

Therefore I would like to disable the image background of gdm.

Why is there no option into the gdmsetup tool for disabling or changing
the image background of the gdm greeter ?
