Public bug reported: That mp3 file is certainly corrupted in some way, but using for instance the xine engine, there isn't such a problem - except a little noise in the point that make gstreamer crash.
* Every software using gstreamer is affected by this problem (rhythmbox, totem, quod libet...) * Steps to reproduce: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ gst-launch-0.10 filesrc location=bad_file.mp3 ! decodebin ! audioconvert ! esdsink I'll attach the crash report here EDIT: Note: This bug report may be a duplicate of Bug #45212, but I haven't got enough technical knowledge for saying that. ** Affects: gstreamer0.10 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Gstreamer segm faults at a certain point of an mp3 file https://launchpad.net/bugs/73373 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
