Public bug reported: When a directory's name is longer than current Nautilus window width, the "Location" field dont show it at all.
It should display at least a part of the dir name, instead of nothing. Something like that: "Very_long_directory_name" → "Very_lo...y_name" ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: nautilus 1:2.32.2.1-0ubuntu13 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-11.48-generic 2.6.38.8 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-11-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: wl Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Aug 19 11:58:49 2011 EcryptfsInUse: Yes ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/nautilus InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release i386 (20110427.1) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=fr_FR:en LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: nautilus UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) XsessionErrors: (vinagre:2036): Gdk-CRITICAL **: IA__gdk_drawable_get_size: assertion `GDK_IS_DRAWABLE (drawable)' failed ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug apport-lpi i386 natty running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/829295 Title: Long directory name isn't shown at all in the "Location:" field To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/829295/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
