I just got it with Oneiric also after all latest updates today. I noticed that there were three wifi icons at the top of the screen in Gnome. (having trouble with unity and fglrx but that is a different story).
On hovering over the icons it became clear that the menus beneath them were ok (sound and accessibility features). This is when the crash dialog popped up so it may be related to me using the menus. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/714088 Title: gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in g_closure_invoke() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/714088/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
