Public bug reported:

Opened a secondary panel (F3) and try to move several folders from left
(USB 2.0 attached device) to right panel (internal HDD). Nautilus
crashed repeatedly several times now, exactly the moment the folder icon
in the right (source) panel disappeared.

Might have to do with two panels or USB? How can I check why it closed?
