This is on Ubuntu 11.04. I'm thus setting the bug to confirmed, with importance: medium per "moderate impact on core application". I'm also moving to package "totem" as the troublesome component appears to be the youtube plugin, which is in totem-plugins binary package, built from source package "totem". I searched for upstream bugs about this and couldn't find any. I also tried to test with the latest Ubuntu development version but totem is segfaulting on me, so I can't confirm yet whether this is fixed in development. The most likely cause for this is that youtube made some changes and the youtube plugin doesn't account for that yet.
