Hi,
I am sorry to say I haven't updated to the Natty Narwhal, due to reported
performance glitches, and will not be updating to it in the foreseeable future,
as this is my work machine.
I can only update on the problem so far, which is that it has somehow changed
in nature over time.
I have been using GIMP in a Photoshop lookalike layout (see attached
screenshot) and those windows won't work in this layout. But, for the past few
months, as soon as I drag them out of it, they do work. When I drag them back
to it, they go back to being greyed out. (I came across a tutorial in a blog
online a long time ago on how to get GIMP to this layout, thus I can't point
you to it now.)
I hope this helps somehow and sorry for not being able to be more helpful.
