Public bug reported: Just a small UI bug but if the 'Shut down the computer' dialog is activated (usually by pressing the power button, but there's a bug in Oneiric so that's not the default at the moment) then the resulting dialog is not packed properly so there are gaps between the different buttons. Please see the screenshot for exactly what I mean. Steps to reproduce: 1.) Go to power settings (search for 'Power' in the Dash) 2.) Set 'When the power button is pressed' to 'Ask me' 3.) Tap your systems power button Expected result: A dialog that looks the same as or better than the one in Natty Actual result: A badly packed dialog which is ugly --- Ubuntu Bug Squad volunteer triager http://wiki.ubuntu.com/BugSquad ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: gnome-power-manager 3.0.2-0ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0-3.4-generic-pae 3.0.0-rc5 Uname: Linux 3.0-3-generic-pae i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Jul 8 13:47:49 2011 EcryptfsInUse: Yes GnomeSessionIdleInhibited: No GnomeSessionInhibitors: None GnomeSessionSuspendInhibited: No MachineType: Hewlett-Packard HP EliteBook 6930p PccardctlIdent: Socket 0: product info: "RICOH", "Bay8Controller", "", "" manfid: 0x0000, 0x0000 function: 254 (unknown) PccardctlStatus: Socket 0: 3.3V 16-bit PC Card Subdevice 0 (function 0) bound to driver "pata_pcmcia" ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_GB:en LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcKernelCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-3.0-3-generic-pae root=UUID=078a4db6-8235-4d26-83cf-e5e77b7e70f1 ro quiet splash pcie_aspm=force vt.handoff=7 SourcePackage: gnome-power-manager UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to oneiric on 2011-07-08 (0 days ago) dmi.bios.date: 06/08/2010 dmi.bios.vendor: Hewlett-Packard dmi.bios.version: 68PCD Ver.
