Public bug reported: The Orca screen reader works (ish) on my desktop. However, if I try to activate the screen reader in GDM (under "Universal Access Preferences, the blue circle icon with a white person on it), I just get a busy cursor for 15 seconds, and no other result.
(It doesn't seem to enable Orca for the desktop session either).
