Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
I have several thousands of e-mails in my inbox (right now 7700) and for some reason, out of the blue, some of my new e-mails show content of around one year ago. It seems like Evolution is getting the right list of e-mail headers but requests the wrong mail details to the server when viewing it in preview mode or double-clicking the mail in the list to open it in a new window. I have tried accessing my mail through webmail (Squirrelmail and Roundcube) and it works well, which makes me pinpoint it to Evolutions' management. I'm using IMAPX. I'm attaching a screenshot hoping to make it clear. I have picked an e-mail entry where the subject in the preview (Asunto in the screenshot) says one thing when the subject in the e-mails list (above) says something else. This occurs with a series of e-mails and I tend to think this is a critical issue (what if an important e-mail comes in?). Restarting evolution didn't help (seems like a permanent bug). I believe an apport bug report has been attached to this report but my version of Evolution is 2.30.3 on Ubuntu Desktop 64bit 10.10. I'm submitting this through apport so there might be duplicates.
