Public bug reported: I mounted an sshfs, and opened a file from the mount with gedit, and now gedit says I don't have permissions to save it. I can edit the files just fine with other programs and I can create files and copy files, just can't write to files using gedt.
The error message: You do not have the permissions necessary to save the file. Please, check that you typed the location correctly and try again. It shows up in the yellow popup bar above the text ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- gedit can't save a file on a sshfs mount https://launchpad.net/bugs/70616 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
