This seems to have been reported a number of times previously, most closely related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/brasero/+bug/529696?comments=all This seems to have reappeared in Natty. Brasero.log contains: 8<---------------------------------- cat brasero-session.log Checking session consistency (brasero_burn_check_session_consistency brasero-burn.c:1739) Unsupported type of task operation Session error : An internal error occurred (brasero_burn_record brasero-burn.c:2856) --------------------------------------->8 The /etc/libao.conf file contains: 8<---------------------------------- cat /etc/libao.conf default_driver=alsa quiet --------------------------------------->8 Recreation is simple. 1) Open Brasero 2) New Audio Project 3) Copy MP3 (or OGG) file into project 4) Attempt to burn 5) CD is ejected before burning.
