Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

I'm not sure if this is an Empathy or a Unity bug, so I'll target it to
both.

Pre-Unity, I had a shortcut to Empathy in my task bar. Clicking on it
would log into my favorite IRC chat channels, and show the Contacts
list. I would generally clos the Contacts list, since it was an empty
box anyway.

Once it was closed, the way to get the Contacts List back was to re-
launch Empathy.

With Unity, clicking on the Empathy icon in the dock doesn't launch the
application (nor is it accessible from the right-click menu). (I can re-
launch it from Super-A Empathy, click).

The global-menu for the Conversation window does not have a way to open
the Contacts List.

** Affects: empathy (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Summary changed:

- Empathy + Unity, no way to get contacts list
+ Empathy + Unity, difficulty to get contacts list
