Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
When I insert USB device (usb stick, iphone, external drive) Nautilus (and gnome-panel) hangs for a few minutes and then suddenly starts working and lets me browse the device. Sometimes it will again temporarily freeze as I'm browsing the device. I also have another problem, that I feel might be related to this. At Gnome login, it takes up to 18 minutes for gnome-panel to show up (wallpaper gets changed also immediately, login sound plays after ~30 seconds), sometimes followed by a couple of error dialogs popping up telling me about applets that failed (problem persists after their removal). The reason I think the issues might be related is that I looked at the "dmesg" output immediately after, and it already contained several instances of the "INFO: task nautilus:1726 blocked for more than 120 seconds." error.
