Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gimp
When I close/log off Ubuntu with an edited file in The GIMP then it doesn't save the file. I would expect a dialog saying: "Save the changes to image 'My Image.jpg' before closing? " and three options: don't save, save and cancel... but instead I get nothing and my image gets lost. =========== lsb_release -rd: Description: Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS Release: 10.04 ============ apt-cache policy gimp: gimp: Installed: 2.6.8-2ubuntu1.2 Candidate: 2.6.8-2ubuntu1.2 Version table: *** 2.6.8-2ubuntu1.2 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-updates/main Packages 500 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-security/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 2.6.8-2ubuntu1 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages ** Affects: gimp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gimp in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/763575 Title: GIMP doesn't prompt to save unsaved files when logging off/exiting -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
