Public bug reported: The problem has manifested itself recently. Usually, it has happened when I attempted to view some childrens' DVDs with my granddaughters. I haven't been able to report it while it's happening then, because I have needed to focus on them. I rarely watch DVDs myself, these days, so I haven't thought to report the problem when the girls aren't here with me. Actually, I was previewing a film in which there's a glider flight sequence, because one of them has become interested in gliders, just now when the same problem occurred. By the way, the problem exists from the start of the DVD--there is no period of normal play.
