This bug also appears in the evolution version of the Edgy final release ( 2.8.1-0ubuntu4). The bug is really not in evolution (but in the source package evolution-data-server-1.8.1. The binary package that is affected is libedataserverui1.2-8_1.8.1-0ubuntu3.
The string "Any Category" also lacks the wrapper function for translation. I attach a patch that corrects these two errors.
