Can confirm the ICEauthority and gconf-sanity-check-2 problem for Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Lucid Lynx. But now also Nautilus could not create the following required folders: /home/user/Desktop, /home/user/.nautilus.
The user is an sudoer when needed and use a .ecryptfs user map. The user changed the password to 'Don't ask for password on login' with System>Administration/Users and groups. With the next reboot the problem's appears. An sudo /etc/init.d/gdm restart fix the problem. But come back after reboot. Do not use 'Don't ask for password on login' for now (, if you are sudoer and use an .ecryptfs)! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/589655 Title: .ICEauthority and gconf-sanity-check-2 problems on login DOMAIN account -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
