Retesting this on Maveric w/ updates, I am able to reproduce this consistently when both cpus are enabled on omap4. Booting with nosmp doesn't produce this error and the import function pulls all 202 test images from my usb drive. More test info to follow, but I would guess this is an issue with mono and smp, similar to banshee (see Ricardo's comments in bug 391588).
