My bug is duplicate #700909. The method proposed in #10 worked for me. I realize the original problem was caused by opening a folder containing video by choosing "Open with other Application", "Movie Player" and leaving the default "Remember this application for 'folder' files" checkbox checked. I had overlooked checkbox that first time. By doing this I could repeat my problem. I think the checkbox default should be unchecked instead of checked. So I don't have a problem now. my bug can be closed.
