As the result above (crash) have not done the expected job (taking a screenshot), i've restarted an other screenshot:
- on first try above (crash): i've chosen to make a screenshot of the active window with the other default setting (0 second delay capture) and i was not asked to name that screenshot, but get a crash. - so i run the command again (applications accessories screenshot), choose active window, change delay to 1 second, and validate to take a screenshot. That time the crash dont happen, a dialog box ask me to name the screenshot and the process goes as expected So the problem is about that default setting of: 0 second delay ** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-utils natty i386 updated how that happen: - - run a command from menu list (here: gnome-screenshot, but i get the same crash when using other app too) - - the crash happen immediatly AFTER i manually close this app + - run command from menu list : gnome-screenshot + - the crash happen immediatly AFTER i validate to take the screenshot - So, it seem related to something else than gnome-screenshot itself.
