I issue the same level of respect I am treated with.  When someone
refuses to look at _years_ of history with preview pane problems, then,
they get the level of respect they deserve.

Your work around isn't really a work around.  The problem isn't just
with images, but any portion of the HTML rendering which is allowed to
go outside for any reason, or allowed to access internal information
(like a contact list) for any reason.

Turning preview pane on by default created a security hole the size of
the Grand Canyon.
