Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

The show menu bar entry in the menu doesn't fully disable the menu for
gnome-terminal.

Open gnome-terminal in natty.
Click on the menu at the top of the screen, edit -> show menubar to _disable_
the menu
Note that the keyboard combination ALT+f & ALT+e do not work in the terminal.
Right click the terminal, note that "Show menubar" option is still ticked.
Untick it
Keyboard combinations ALT+f and ALT+e work again.
