I can report that issue while trying to close down Evolution the usual way hitting the Exit button. Parameter --force-shutdown helps in my case as well. This is a really nasty bug, since it hampers working efficiency 6-10 times a day. I suppose it has something to do with the exchange integration (exchange-evolution) package i use.
