I cannot confirm this because I cannot upgrade to Edgy again (due to
having Edgy installed), but today's update to gdm added a server to the
list like it was supposed to all along. The cause of this bug was no
server was added/listed.

My workaround entailed adding a server.

I know that the new gdm update adds another server because after today's
update (I made sure to have the package overwrite my config files) and
gdm restart, two servers on two VT's were started. Checking System ->
Administrations -> Login Window -> Security -> Configure X-Server showed
a second server listed. This should mean that gdm is now properly
configured and adds a server.

Consider this bug closed if you wish.
