I tried reinstalling to no effect. Also, I have tried different locations (I am in New York city). Other locations in New York (such as Albany) get an updated forecast, so the problem appears to be specific to New York city. None of the NYC locations (Central park, La Guardia Airport, or Kennedy International Airport) will get an updated forecast.
