Hi, I'm also affected by this bug (since a while). I attached the running nautilus process to gdb, continued and got the following message when plugging in my iphone :
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. __strcmp_ia32 () at ../sysdeps/i386/i686/multiarch/../strcmp.S:39 39 ../sysdeps/i386/i686/multiarch/../strcmp.S: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type. in ../sysdeps/i386/i686/multiarch/../strcmp.S Used backtrace to get the attached stacktrace. That bug may be related to bug #657351 : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/657351 I am running Ubuntu 10.10 with the latest updates. Thanks. ** Attachment added: "bug stacktrace" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/580177/+attachment/1760909/+files/nautilus_crash_when_plugging_iphone.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/580177 Title: Nautilus crashes/fails to launch when 1st gen iPhone is plugged in. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
