Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem
1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu. "You are using Ubuntu 10.10 - the Maverick Meerkat - released in October 2010 and supported until April 2012." 2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy packagename' or by checking in Synaptic. Source: totem Version: 2.32.0-0ubuntu1 3) What you expected to happen I browsed to http://www.cedricblaisbois.com/EP_SPECIAL_TEASER.html and totem plugin showed up, so i tried using that to play the video. I selected "full screen" from the context menu. The monitor resolution was changed. I expected the resolution to be restored after exiting full screen mode. (Also, the 1360x768 resolution that totem switched to didn't make sense, but that's probably because my display wasn't recognised on install so it probably thought I had a 16:9 screen.) 4) What happened instead Monitor resolution was not restored after exiting full screen mode.
