Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

A2DP device controls (Play/Pause, Next Track etc) work as expected in
Rhythmbox when configured in Gnome. In fact, vastly snappier than on my
phone, really good.

Unfortunately, if the workstation desktop is locked, controls are
ignored.

Unsure if this is the right place for this, since I can imagine this
overlaps bluetooth, gnome, rhythmbox, but as good a aplace as any to
start.
