Also observed that "Switch User" on the LTSP thin client does nothing on the LTSP thin client. Running Lucid 10.04 i386.
Clicking "Switch User" on LTSP thin client appears to function the same as "Cancel". When "Switch User" is clicked, the client screen goes black, but any mouse movement or keyboard click returns a locked screen message. HOWEVER: The 'Switch User' button "appears" to function the same as 'Cancel', but selecting it on the LTSP client causes the SERVER to immediately lock the current account that is active and offer to "switch user" on the server. Typing the following key combinations "cntrl-alt-L" and "alt-L" on either the server OR the client will offer the "Switch User" function result on the LTSP server. In other words, the action on the LTSP client effects a response on the server. I would consider this a serious bug in the switch user option with an LTSP configuration. The "Switch User" function only affects the server. Other LTSP clients do not appear to be affected. -- No switch user while screensaver running(LTSP). https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/614642 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
