I don't know if this is a bug, how do yo consider this behavior: 1) $ sudo gmenu-simple-editor /etc/xdg/menus/gnome-screensavers.menu I can see only manually added screensavers to /usr/local/share/applications/screensavers and the default screensavers installed with packages. Moreover, editing the checkboxes mess up the main file gnome-screensavers.menu.
2) $ gmenu-simple-editor gnome-screensavers.menu I can see the screensavers installed with packages and ~/.local/share/applications/screensavers. No other manually added entry is visible. 3) With gnome-screensaver-preferences I have a random behavior. Usually only the default screensavers are visibile, sometimes manual entries appear but it is not clear how is works. Maybe this is all expected, but a little more consistency or documentation would be welcome! -- Add a screensaver in the Screensaver list https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/669541 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-menus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
