The error appears immediately after setting keyboard model to "Macbook/Macbook Pro", international or non international. Also "Macintosh" creates the error. The error does not appear if I select "Apple Laptop" or "Macintosh Old" for example. I had reset my computer after ignoring the same error when set to Macbook/Macbook Pro (I have a macbook) and my keyboard did not work at all. I could not log in at the gdm. After struggling to find an xorg.conf file when using a livecd, I gave up and reinstalled from scatch. Needless to say, I am leaving my keyboard model set to something that does not produce this error, as I am afraid I won't be able to use the computer if I don't! -- Changing keyboard model causes XKB configuration error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/490009 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
