Issue effects me as well on a fresh maverick install. Gtalk will not connect, 'Reason not specified'. I open up pidgin and put my credentials in there and it connects with no problem. This also affects fb chat. I'm sitting here watching both gtalk and fb chat connect then immediately disconnect, then a few seconds later attempt to connect and on and on. Going to use pidgin till this is fixed.
