Public bug reported: mkv files do not be played and avi files play correctly but noise.
1. When I try to use Totem to play the mkv files which is played correctly at ubuntu 10.04, Totem responded that "无法编码多工传送的流。" or "Could not demultiplex stream." 2. Avi files are played correctly, but noises appear when I suddenly change the playing time to previous or the following content, bigger noise appear when the content has higher volume. It's not a big problem, but it is a worry to hearing. I have already setup ubuntu-restricted-extras and gstreamer0.10 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: libgstreamer0.10-0 0.10.30-1build2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.34-generic 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia wl Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Oct 16 16:58:46 2010 EcryptfsInUse: Yes ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/totem InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=zh_CN:zh LANG=zh_CN.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gstreamer0.10 ** Affects: gstreamer0.10 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick -- mkv files do not be played and avi files play correctly but noise https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/661638 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gstreamer0.10 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
