Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

I have encrypted home (on laptop) and LUKS encrypted USB HDD. When
copying big files using nautilus - I am hardly possible do something
else. Even rhytmbox is not able play music "( Doing the same through
terminal (using cp or rsync) is not loading CPU so much. It uses kcryptd
- I tried to observe it, but this deamon is not using CPU so
extensively. Nothing interesting in dmesg. System is up-to-date.

My system is Maverick (not "clear" - upgraded from 10.04 LTS).
