I'm experiencing this with the Maverick (10.10) Release Candidate for Netbooks. With the default 'terminal' app available via applications. Running it 'Live' from USB stick (i.e. not installed)
Not only does Shift+Ctrl+V fail to paste, but Shift+Ctrl+C fails to copy the selected text. Use of the Edit menu options for Copy and Paste does work. Use of Ctrl+Ins and Shift+Ins also does work for Copy and Paste. But for as long as I've been using Ubuntu, Shift+Ctrl+C and Shift+Ctrl+V have been the default key combinations for the Copy and Paste functions in gnome-terminal.
