I'd like to add some more information about the issue of birth dates visualization in Evolution Contacts.
By means of many test cases, I could finally define as follows the dates bug affecting Evolution with my data: - birthdays up to Dec 13, 1901 are shown as Jan 1, 1970 in the contact detailed window; - birthdays starting from Dec 14, 1901 are shown correctly in the contact detailed window; - all birthdays are shown correctly in the preview area of the main window. In order to reproduce the issue, please create a sample vCard file containing the following data: BEGIN:VCARD N:Smith;Jack BDAY:1901-12-13 END:VCARD BEGIN:VCARD N:Smith;John BDAY:1901-12-14 END:VCARD and import it with the Import functionality. Then have a look of the birth dates shown for John and Jack in their respective detail window. I'm using Evolution 2.28.3 on Ubuntu 10.04.
